The global increase in the demand for fertilizers and thus phosphorus (P) contributes to depletion of P reserves need recycle this element. This paper presents results a pilot-scale experiment on possibility using fertilizer preparation containing alginate, Fe (AFP) obtained process adsorption from sludge water hydrogel alginate adsorbent cross-linked with iron (III) ions. influence AFP growth model plant Italian ryegrass (Lolium perenne cv. Turtetra) was examined comparison differentiated mineral fertilization (MF) under conditions pot experiment. two produced similar crop yields tested had soil macro- micro-elements, except content Cu ryegrass, which significantly higher fertilization. Further research use proposed sorbent large-scale recycling an uncontrolled field environment should include acceptable limits multivalent metal concentrations wastewater, mechanical/thermal stability, effectiveness cost competitiveness. has potential compete fertilization, technology is line EU circular economy vision.
